Welcome to Kalevala South Farm! We are a family-owned 300-acre Farm in the beautiful Monadnock region of southern New Hampshire. Established in 2019, our farm is built around a passion for working the land, caring for our forests, and creating quality products through hard work and dedication.
As first-generation farmers, we have been building Kalevala South Farm from the ground up. We are restoring old farmland, improving the property, and developing our land through forestry, trail building, equipment projects, and hands-on farm work.
Although Kalevala South Farm is a first-generation farm on this property, our family’s farming roots go back much further. The original Kalevala Farm was established in Lebanon New Hampshire by my great-grandfather who was a Finish immigrant and my grandfather. Today, Kalevala South Farm carries that legacy forward, honoring our family’s heritage while building a new chapter here in the Monadnock region
Our farm is home to our maple syrup operation and growing Christmas tree fields. We harvest sap from our own Sugarbush and produce Pure New Hampshire maple syrup in small batches using a traditional wood-fired evaporator. We also grow Christmas trees, creating a place where families can enjoy choosing a tree grown right here on our farm.
Beyond maple syrup and Christmas trees, we manage our forests, mill our own lumber, and create custom wood products using timber from our property. From handcrafted signs and engraved pieces to unique wood products, we enjoy turning the resources from our land into something lasting.
At Kalevala South Farm, everything we do is rooted in hard work, craftsmanship, and respect for the land. We invite you to follow our journey as we continue restoring this historic farm and building its future for generations to come.
